Pop star Richard Marx in terrifying ‘psycho’ plane drama

What a nightmare

Eighties pop sensation Richard Marx has lashed out at Korean Air, after he says he was involved in a terrifying four-hour incident with an allegedly violent and out-of-control passenger.

The star says that flight crew were unprepared to adequately deal with the situation, unable to use a taser and restraints – forcing himself and other passengers to intervene and restrain the man.

‘A completely ill-prepared and untrained crew for a situation like this,’ he raged in one of a series of online posts about the terrifying flight. ‘Four hours of a psycho passenger attacking crew members and other passengers.

‘My wife and I are safe but one crew member and two passengers were injured. The all female crew was clueless and not trained as to how to restrain this psycho and he was only initially subdued when I and a couple other male passengers intervened.

‘He then later easily broke his restraints and attacked more crew and another passenger. When we landed in Seoul police boarded the plane.’

The star, who is married to TV presenter Daisy Fuentes, is now on the warpath over the airline’s handling of the hellish episode.

‘Heading home to Los Angeles soon but Korean Air should be sanctioned for not knowing how to handle a situation like this without passenger interference.’

The airline has yet to comment on the matter.
