The star passed away aged 81

Australian TV legend Paul Cronin has died aged 81.

The TV star was best known for his role in The Sullivans and Matlock police. 

He also appeared in A Place Called Home and won five Logies throughout his stellar career.

He was surrounded by his grandchildren and daughters when he passed away on Friday night.

“He was the most wonderful father, he was protective, he would have done everything for his girls. We loved him so much, he adored mum so much,” his daughter Susanne told The Herald Sun.

“We’re so proud of what he achieved in his career.

“He was determined to follow through on anything he set his mind to.”
