Provocative pop star Miley Cyrus has joined a slew of celebrities in speaking out against the United States new abortion ban.
Last week, the state of Louisiana passed new legislation that restricted women’s rights to abortion, sparking outrage by many across the US.
Louisana joins Georgia, Arkansas, Mississippi and Ohio in the passing of the ‘heartbeat bill’.

Taking to Instagram, the founder of The Happy Hippie Foundation posted her support of women’s rights and the overturning of strict abortion laws in her typical quirky style – via some cake art.
In the post, Miley is seen licking a large cake which reads, ‘Abortion IS Healthcare‘.
The post comes in tandem with the announcement that Miley Cyrus has teamed up fashion designer Marc Jacobs for a special collab project.
Taking to social media, Miley announced the release of a pink hoodie with the words ‘Don’t F*ck With My Freedom‘ printed on it, designed by Marc Jacobs. All proceeds from the jacket are going to American sexual health care organisation, Planned Parenthood, to support women’s reproductive rights.
The post has drawn criticism from many pro-life activists online, however, it seems the wife of Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth is sticking to her convictions.
