While it may increasingly seem to some fans that The Bachelor’s Richie Strahan wasn’t her type at all, former reality star Megan Marx insists she didn’t go on the show as a cynical career move, and says she does like men.
The former TV beauty has responded to increasingly hostile fan queries about why she would go on a show like The Bachelor if her tastes lay elsewhere – following weeks of teasing, semi-nude Instagram photos that are clearly meant to imply she’s in a lesbian relationship with fellow contestant Tiffany Scanlon.
‘I went on the show to potentially meet someone amazing, and found something even more amazing,’ Megan responded on Instagram, following questions about the sincerity of her motivations for doing the show, given her subsequent antics.
‘I live in a small town with a very simple life. All this hate is cruel.’
Megan has stated that she ‘wouldn’t rule out’ having a relationship with a woman, and has clarified that she’s primarily attracted to men – so insists going on The Bachelor wasn’t a stunt.
