In recent years, appearing on a reality TV show has become something of a career in itself.

Small screen stars from hit reality series like Love Island, The Bachelor and Married At First Sight have gone on to make names for themselves in the social media influencer industry, plugging everything from clothing brands to weight loss supplements on Instagram.

Mike Gunner of last season’s MAFS is one of them, but it seems the Queensland electrician has hit rock bottom if his latest venture is anything to by.

After his newly launched podcast Stick to Your Knitting was panned by fans, Mike has started to offer ‘personalised advice’ videos which can be purchased through the Cameo app for a meagre $20.

Other beleaguered celebrities including Mike’s on-screen bride Ning Surasiang and former MAFS stars Troy Delmege and Telverne Williams are also promoting the clips, with Troy and Telv charging a paltry $10 and $11 respectively.

Personalities from The Bachelor franchise have also hopped on the grim band wagon, with bad boy Bachelorette star Paddy Colliar offering tailor made clips for just $15 while his co-star Nathan Favro charges significantly more at $100 per video.

The news comes as it emerged the fifth episode of Mike’s podcast garnered just 81 views compared to the 6,000 listeners who tuned in for the first installment.

“Can one man, in one podcast, change the world? Maybe. Maybe not. But I’d like to find out,” Mike told the Courier Mail of his side project, weeks after his split from TV wife and professional radio hostHeidi Latcham.

Mike announced his new career aspirations via his Instagram account last month, telling his followers in a video, “Hey, guys. It’s Mike here, and a felt like doing a little podcasting, and do you know what? I need some questions.

“They could be relationship questions, life questions, things that puzzle you. I’m going to sort this out for you right here and now. So write a question in the comments and I’m gonna get to it, and I’m just gonna f**ken freestyle this thing. So yeah, hit me up with a question and let’s see if we can solve some issues.”
