One is a Greek-Australian makeup artist turned reality TV star.
The other is an Armenian-American reality TV star turned global icon and millionaire businesswoman with her own cosmetics empire.
But as well as their professional likenesses, Martha Kalifatidis of Married At First Sight Australia and Kim Kardashian West of Keeping Up With the Kardashians share a remarkably similar physical appearance and an almost identical taste in clothing.
(Both women have also found themselves at the centre of plastic surgery rumours, which Martha Kalifatidis has confirmed but Kim Kardashian has continuously denied.)
Here, New Idea take a look at every time the 30-year-old Melbourne-born MAFS star channelled the 37-year-old Calabasas sensation that is KKW.
The Neon Pink Dress
The 30-year-old brunette beauty wore a quirky neon pink dress for a MAFS promo shot ahead of the first dinner party featuring a strategic cut out just below the bust.
Martha teamed wore her long raven tresses in a waved style around her shoulders and opted for nude makeup with a warm smokey eye and softly shimmering lips.
But haven’t we seen this look somewhere before?
Roughly six months previous, Kim stepped out in an almost identical 90s inspired ensemble and glam for little sister Kylie Jenner‘s 21st birthday in Santa Monica, California.
The mother-of-three wore a custom satin minidress from husband Kanye West’s Yeezy line, which we can only assume cost significantly more than Married At First Sight’s Martha’s version.
The Minuscule Charcoal Bikini
Makeup artist Martha posted this VERY sexy shot on Instagram back at Christmas while holidaying in Byron Bay, just before she burst onto Australian screens and married her reality TV husband Michael Brunelli.
The MAFS diva drew serious inspiration from the KKW Beauty founder, who posted a mirror selfie wearing a strikingly similar bralet and thong – again from Yeezy – back in June 2018.
Sydney-based Martha even channelled Mrs West’s long wavy hair.
The Oversized Suit (with nothing much underneath)
Martha attended Melbourne Fashion Week without hubby Michael, and even brought her hair stylist as her guest in place of her MAFS co-stars Ines Basic and Jessika Power who she formed a close bond with on the Channel Nine social experiment.
The reality star looked fashion forward in an oversized white suit with a plunging neckline to showcase her surgically enhanced assets.
But we think Martha took her sartorial cues from a familiar face for this one, too.
Back in November 2017, North West’s mum stole the show at the LACMA Art and Film Gala in a black oversized trouser suit – with an even more daring front than Martha braved.
Both women wore barely there stiletto heels and left their long hair in boho waves around their shoulders (although Kiki was platinum blonde during that period).
The Basic White Tee with Jeans
Who says celebrities can’t do casual?
After shooting to stardom on the Nine experiment, Martha posted a cute mirror selfie before heading to the Married At First Sight commitment ceremony to meet her man Michael.
She wore a peplum white top with medium wash denim jeans, while the top of an on-trend Fendi shoulder bag peeped out from the right corner of the photo.
And speaking of fashionable Fendi, do you know what A-lister was instrumental in reviving the Italian luxury house by appearing in their 2018 Fendi for Family campaign?
Yes, you guessed it: Kris Jenner’s second daughter, Kim Kardashian.
Here we see Kim looking uncharacteristically dressed down in a long sleeved ribbed white top and denim jeans of a similar colour to Martha’s.
The Tracksuit Pants
Just three years ago, trackies were looked on as the go-to garb for feeling under the weather (and for late night snack runs).
But thanks to the awe inspiring influence of Kanye West’s Yeezy (via his muse and spouse Kim Kardashian) the casual pants have now become acceptable attire for all manner of events from the workplace to the club.
MAFS Martha rocked a cream pair of elasticated trackies in this shot from February 22 and again paid homage to her idol with the caption: “I’m into selfies again 😜”
Just hours before, Kim herself shared THIS mirror photo with her 134 million followers with the same caption (minus the emoji).
Keeks rocked a dark pair of workout pants with one of her signature Yeezy crop tops.
