There was massive drama on last night’s episode of Married At First Sight, with Jessika revealing she had found someone who she wants to build a life with – the only problem was, that person wasn’t her TV husband Mick.
Jessika asked to remain in the Channel 9 social experiment with intruder groom Dan as her new partner after embarking on a sordid affair during filming, much to the frustration of their respective spouses and every other duo on the show.
In an interview with Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa Jess and Dan opened up about the consequences of their cheating, which even resulted in death threats.
“We didn’t go about it the right way, but I knew what I wanted and I just had to do it,” the blonde bombshell admitted.
“Obviously people get quite invested in the show, so there’s been a few death threats and stuff,” Dan added.

“I woke up to a flurry on inboxes, people saying things like ‘I hope you get a noose and hang it around your neck and video it’, ‘You’re a disgrace to human kind’ and all this kind of stuff,” Jess revealed.
“I usually hit decline all, but these people are quite sneaky…they’ll start the message with something like ‘lots of love’ and then it turns out to be really nasty!”
Of their sneaky betrayal, Jessika believes she is being unfairly portrayed as a villain by producers and feels she and Dan should stand over the decision to follow their hearts.
“We’re copping it quite a bit but we need to own our wrong,” she said.
Jess and Dan are set to continue in the experiment as a couple.
