Married at First Sight has been nominated for two Logies, however, two of the show’s most widely known characters – Ines Basic and Jessica Power – weren’t invited to the awards in a controversial snub.
Although there were reports that Ines and Jessika were accepting of their lack of invitation to Australia’s biggest night in TV, the two ladies decided that even though they are not in the Gold Coast to enjoy the glitz, glamour and free-flowing champagne, doesn’t mean they can’t have fun!
MAFS’ Jessika Power and Ines Basic hit the town after Logies snub
Hitting the town – and consuming what looks to be a fair amount of cocktails, Jess and Ines uploaded a series of rather questionable videos to their Instagram stories that read like one big ‘middle finger’ to the Logies.
In the videos, aspiring model Jessika is seen sipping on a yellow cocktail before the footage changes to Jessika pouring a shot of what looks like alcohol, into her cocktail.
In one of the more promiscuous shots – that may have occurred later on in their drinking session – Ines captures a video of Jessika ‘twerking’ with a ‘reserved’ sign balanced on her bottom.
Speaking with the Daily Mail, Jessika took a swipe at her fellow MAFS co-stars while insisting that neither she nor Ines cared about their Logies snub.
“Of course we would’ve attended if they’d asked, but they wanted to play it safe by inviting all the boring MAFS people,” she said.
It looks like the stars from Married At First Sight attending the ceremony, aren’t playing nice at the either.
Reality TV’s golden couple Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant were seen snubbing co-stars Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli in a shocking move.
In footage captured by Jules, it appears she and Cam invited the MAFS cast to get ready in their hotel room before the event, all the cast except Martha and Micahel that is.
Posting a photo of herself, Cam, Heidi and Nic, Jules pointedly commented: “The Fam!”
