Married At First Sight star Jessika Power has finally addressed her and Ines Basic’s infamous fight with their former co-star Martha Kalifatidis after the Logie Awards last week.
The MAFS brides clashed in a war of words outside the Star Gold Coast in Queensland on June 30, after Jessika and Ines gatecrashed the after-party which Kardashian-lookalike Martha and her boyfriend Michael Brunelli were attending.
Jessika took to social media on Sunday night to clear up the confusion.
WATCH what Jessika had to say for herself here:
“Basically, I said hello to Martha, something was going down between herself and Ines,” Jessika explained in her Instagram stories, assumedly referencing Martha’s claims that Bosnian-born Ines pretended to vomit on her.
“Ines wasn’t happy in the situation and I knew if I sat there and tried to play mediator it would have gotten worse.”
Jessika further revealed she and her fellow MAFS stars spoke in a group chat the day after the Logies to put the feud to bed.
“We’ve all put it to rest and said we hope each other are happy in our future endeavours.”
Elsewhere in the video, 27-year-old Jessika named Cyclone Cyrell Paule as her least favourite MAFS co-star.
“I didn’t, and still do not, get on with Cyrell. She’s too aggressive in the way she approaches situations, and I just don’t like that.”
The Perth-born reality star also admitted she’s ready and willing to return to the small screen.
“100 percent if I was given the chance I would love to do more reality TV. I really enjoyed it and I’d love to show you the real me, and not some edited MAFS villain you guys saw before.”
Asked specifically if she would apply for Love Island Australia, the controversial MAFS contestant said it’s definitely not something she would refuse if given the chance.
“Look, right now I am happy in my relationship and love life… But this is definitely not an offer I would turn down if I had an offer and a clear path,” she said, hinting at her rumoured romance with former MAFS star Nick Furphy.
The MAFS villain also clarified her status with disability support worker Ash Dudman, who she was pictured cosying up to inside a Devonport, Tasmania nightclub on Saturday night, Daily Mail Australia reports.
“Ash and I are friends. I followed him on Instagram for four years before the show, we’ve been mates for a little while. We’re not dating or romantically involved.”
In a candid moment, Jessika revealed her biggest struggle since MAFS wrapped was the end of her relationship with intruder groom Dan Webb.
