On Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight, expert John Aiken had just about enough of Susie’s constant patronising behaviour towards husband Billy.
Throughout the week she has constantly belittled him saying he should ‘man up’ and ‘grow some balls.’
During the commitment ceremony the pair bickered and screamed at one another before John interrupted Susie.
John Aiken interrupts “I’m going to jump in here…you’re doing my head in!”
“I can’t hear the way you talk,” he continues.
“It’s toxic!” he laments. He then asks Susie to think about how she is contributing to the couple’s breakdown for which she takes no blame for.
“It’s a problem that you don’t know…let me give you some feedback” John insists.
“Billy and I don’t like each other…” Susie interjects.
“You talk as though you think you’re better than Billy,” John adds.
“No I don’t,” Susie insists.
“Cruel put downs and eye rolls, that’s contempt!” John pushes back.
In the end Susie and Billy decide to stay and try to give their marriage another go. But will it last?
