Surrounded by their family and closest friends the couple threw a gender reveal party where they discovered they’re having a boy!
Eden— who rose to fame after appearing on Love Island Australia— was so excited about the news, he even shed a tear.
“Another little Eden,” he said, as friends watched on — including fellow Married At First Sight stars Jules Robinson, Cameron Merchant and Mick Gould—
Although Cyrell was also over the moon, she had learned the child’s sex sometime before however decided to keep it a secret so she could surprise her boyfriend!
Despite initial rumours that the couple was faking their relationship in an attempt to gain notoriety, they’ve been going strong since announcing their relationship on an episode of Talking Married in April. Months later, they revealed they were going to be parents!
“I wouldn’t be surprised if my child is going to get called a publicity stunt. That’s sad, because the baby has nothing to do with it. It gets exhausting trying to defend it,” Cyrell told New Idea.
“They’ll say we got pregnant to stay relevant or to extend our 15 minutes of fame. It’s very stressful and stress can cause bad things to happen,” Eden added.
As for how people reacted to their baby news, Eden said “everyone was in shock”.
“My old man always says your first child is a really special feeling. My mum was excited too. At first it was a shock but now everyone is on board.”
