Reports have emerged that Marilyn Manson Marily has been hospitalised following an onstage incident in New York that saw the musician crushed by a stage prop.
It is not yet known how serious Manson’s condition is, although a spokesperson for the shock rocker told Rolling Stone:
“Manson suffered an injury towards the end of his incredible NYC show. He is being treated at a local hospital.”
Footage of the incident shows Manson making his way towards the back of the stage when a stage prop of two large pistols fell onto him as he attempted to climb them, leaving the star motionless on stage while paramedics rushed to his aid.
According to Variety, a source close to the singer states that he is expected to be “fine”, but no official statement has been released yet. Likewise, it is currently unclear whether any upcoming dates on Manson’s tour, which began Wednesday, are to postponed or cancelled in light of this incident.
