What a difference a day makes. As Sam reminisces about the trip to Goldie, he says: “I can definitely see Ines in my future.” But by the end of the dinner party – boom – he reveals the truth!
Getting ready for the dinner party, Ines is excited about what could be happening with her and Sam. “I could really see myself with Sam,” she says, “like outside the experiment, long-term, real life husband.”
Whereas Sam seems more concerned about kicking Elizabeth while she’s down. “The fact that this is happening all behind the scenes is great,” Sam says. “It gives me a bit of a kick to be like ‘stuff you’ to Elizabeth.”

While Ines wants to be open with everyone, she says she made an agreement with Sam not expose them until they were both ready but she knows at least she’ll have some time with him at the dinner party.
But when they finally get a moment to sneak away, Sam’s true feelings come out.
Ines is keen to find out how Sam feels but Sam isn’t as genuine as she believed.
Sam tells Ines he’s going to say ‘leave’ to Elizabeth because he really likes her so Ines agrees to leave too so they can be together outside the experiment. But then Sam reveals his true colours – it was all just an act for the show!
“Whoa, like Ines has come on way too strong,” Sam says. “It’s a bit of a turn off. I don’t think we thought or figured it would go this far.
“I’d hate to dodge one bullet for another bullet,” he says. And like that, he’s done with Ines.
