On Monday night’s episode of Married At First Sight Mike lets loose in an epic rant at Jess.
In what is supposed to be a meeting where the pair share their advice and thoughts on each other’s relationships, Mike and Jess’s encounter gets personal and picks up from the time they last had a showdown at the dinner party.
“I wanted to hold you accountable to what you said to Ning,” Mike says to Jess who starts to get her feathers ruffled.
“I wanted you to feel publicly held to account,” he elaborates.
“What humiliated?” Jess whines.
“Yes, you could say that…” Mike says unapologetically.
“I thought it was time I bought you down a peg…” he adds.
“I thought it was really uncalled for… your tone really affected me,” Jess later admitted.
“I was prepared to make you feel uncomfortable,” adds Mike unable to back down.
“Do you not think that was wrong? You’re just an old man yelling at a female!” screams Jess, leaving the meeting no better equipped to deal with her relationship with Dan or having imparted any advice to Mike on his relationship with Heidi.
Later Heidi is dumbfounded to find out why Mike and Jess didn’t talk about their relationship and just got caught up in each other’s worlds.
“I just feel ripped off to why you didn’t get any tips… you could have just watched Dr Phil!” exclaims Heidi with her head in her hands.
Oh Mike! When will you learn?
