There were so many moments that the camera’s missed – or that hit the edit room floor – in the finale episodes of Married at First Sight.
Including that Mark Scrivens and Ning Surasiang actually spent the night together after the reunion ceremony. Sneaky!
OK, we know it was never smooth sailing for the pair, who failed to connect on their wedding day and butted heads throughout the course of their relationship.
And after they struggled to find intimacy, Mark gave up on the whole thing and unceremoniously dumped Ning at their vow renewal ceremony, leaving the mum-of-three devastated.
But fast-forward to Sunday night’s reunion dinner party and we saw Ning was optimistic about her relationship with Mark, and said she predicted things would be back on if Mark turned up with facial hair, as he knows she “digs the beard”.
A chat with Mick confirmed that his messaging and sending her memes was also “a sign.”
And when a bearded Mark walked in and made a beeline for his ex wife, IT WAS ON!
“I think there is a still a flame burning there,” Mark admitted to the camera after seeing Ning again.
But we were left hanging as the rest of Ning and Mark’s antics weren’t covered by the cameras – there was so much drama happening that they flew under the radar!
Ning let the cat out of the bag this morning when she revealed in a radio interview what the cameras had missed.
“Let’s just say I went back to his place after the reunion,” Ning told Hit 103.5’s Carly & Seamus.
But that was all she would reveal, keeping mum on whether the pair are back together.
“Look, anything is possible, and of course we still talk. I don’t want to give anything away, but women and men need to have some hope in their lives, and it’s not over until the fat lady sings, and hopefully I can become that fat lady one day,” she said.
“Let’s be honest, our relationship has been under the microscope the whole time, so sometimes things are better left unsaid … I’m not confirming or denying anything.”
