The 29-year-old from Melbourne is searching for someone to build a relationship with like her parents who were happily married for 35 years. But she is also still overcoming heartache after losing her mum to motor neurone disease three years ago.
Tamara has had no problem dating but she struggles to find a guy who wants more than a hook up and is tired of being ghosted. And with her twin brother getting ready to walk down the aisle, as much as she loves her future sister-in-law, she no longer wants to be the third wheel in their relationship.
While Tamara says she is ready to find a husband who can commit to her long term, she also knows that her jealousy can get in the way of a healthy relationship. “Tamara has realised her tendency to become territorial is often at the detriment of her relationships, and her expectation that her man is 100% focused on her at all times is unrealistic,” a MAFS spokesperson said.
