Married At First Sight’s Anthony left Nadia unimpressed after he revealed to his wife he was having doubts about their relationship.
Nadia, who is based on the Gold Coast, flew to Sydney to talk face-to-face with Anthony about their marriage but his answers were far from reassuring.
During their initial reunion, Anthony made a dig at her fashion choices after Nadia told him she wanted to change.
‘You will be grossly overdressed,’ he said. ‘You would dress up to the opening of an envelope.’
He then snapped after she suggested they bring a rug to the park, saying: ‘No man this age owns a rug’.
Nadia was also left disappointed when Anthony shared his doubts about her moving to Sydney to be with him.
‘At our age we have to make the right call. I’m still trying to work out if this is long term,’ he told her. ‘I keep saying I need time, and that’s what I need, you know.’
He continued: ‘I’m so used to being on my own. I’ve got my independence, I can do stuff, I can find my time.’
Nadia insisted he was overanalysing the situation, telling him: ‘I don’t see any real reason for us not to be together at this point and I just think you ought to be grateful for that.’
