Australian sports presenter Erin Molan has responded to a Daily Mail article critiquing her fashion choice for the Logie Awards at The Star Gold Coast on Sunday night.
The 36-year-old journalist, who reports for Nine News Sydney and The NRL Footy Show, was slammed by an unnamed Daily Mail Showbiz reporter for her ensemble, which was branded “bizarre” and a “rare fashion fail”.

Speaking to Natalie Peters of 2GB FM, the mother-of-one said she’s unphased by the negative feedback.
“To be honest, it’s probably one of the nicer articles they’ve written about me,” Erin admitted.
“I honestly could not care less. The designer worked really hard, and all the girls worked really hard, so I feel bad when that stuff happens ‘cos I feel like I let them down.
“I’m just so awkward, I don’t know how to pose on the red carpet,” she added.
“I feel like an absolute tool – it’s just not my thing! And you know what? I couldn’t care less that [Daily Mail] think I looked gross.”
Erin walked the Logies red carpet in a 1920s inspired sheer lemon dress from Diane Lewis Couture, embellished with delicate leaf beading.
The Canberra-born anchor accessorised with jewelry from APM Monaco and toted a fashion-forward vintage Fabrizio Verniani bag from consignment store Pelle Shoes.
Her look was styled by Alex Wilson, Style Manager at Channel Nine.
Erin’s comments come as drama from the Logies continues to rage, two days after the star studded Queensland event.
Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis has hit back at claims she elbowed Sunrise host David Koch in the ribs on the red carpet, after Kochie and co-host Sam Armytage blasted the Channel Nine reality star on the national breakfast show.
According to David, the MAFS contestant elbowed him in the ribs in an attempt to get in front of photographers, telling Channel Seven viewers: “I’ve still got bruises in the ribs from the Married At First Sight woman who elbowed me on the way through.”
Kim Kardashian lookalike Martha and her boyfriend Michael Brunelli responded in a social media video, calling Kochie a “liar” and Sam a “bully”.
The Logies has been mired in controversy ever since controversial comedian Tom Gleeson astounded Australian TV fans by nabbing the coveted Gold Logie ahead of hot favourite Amanda Keller.
The Hard Quiz host outraged many by savaging Channel Nine’s former golden boy Karl Stefanovic in his lengthy acceptance speech, poking fun at his shock axing from The Today Show last year.
“I think the reason they (the Logies) ask you to do the opening is because Channel Nine has run out of stars,” Tom began.
“They don’t have any left. They have a new rule on breakfast TV too if you are too entertaining they fire you. Am I right Karl. Is Karl here. Where is Karl?”

At this point Karl, who’s sitting next to new wife Jasmine Yarbrough, appears visibly nervous as Gleeson goes in for the attack, but not before slamming Channel Nine reality TV show Married At First Sight.
“Congratulations to Married At First Sight by the way for their monster ratings. Give them a huge round of applause.
“Channel Nine were happy to cash in on your ratings by showing off your tacky weddings and fired Karl Stefanovic for having one!”
