The Network Ten anchor took to social media to share the hilariously suggestive words, which came from a Project staffer called Brad.
Brad asked, “Hey Lisa, did you need a poke?”
Taken aback, Lisa replied with a shocked face.
Brad hastily added, “Bowl. Would you like a poke BOWL for lunch?” in reference to the popular Hawaiian rice and fish dish.
Seeing the funny side, Lisa shared a screenshot of the conversation on Instagram with the caption: “When one of the sweetest guys in the office makes you an offer.
“Of picking up some lunch 😮😂😂😂”
The post swiftly racked up almost 6,000 likes and dozens of comments from fans of the Australian talk show, with one calling it “absolute gold”.
Another woman wrote: “I just hope you said YES Lisa Wilkinson… to a bowl that is! Hilarious.”
Yesterday, Lisa paid heartwarming tribute to the late Princess Diana who would have celebrated her 58th birthday on July 1.
Her sweet birthday message comes after Lisa attended the Logies at the Star Gold Coast on Sunday night with the biggest stars in Australian TV.
On the red carpet, Lisa hilariously remembered her days on the Today Show with former Channel Nine golden boy Karl Stefanovic, and even revealed she once fell asleep while they were on air, News.com.au reports.
