Lisa Wilkinson might be in big trouble with her bosses over at Channel Ten after she gave away the ending to The Bachelor finale.
Last night, Matt Agnew gave Chelsie McLeod the final rose, leaving runner-up Abbie Chatfield devastated and fans delighted.
But before we were able to see Abbie’s heartbreak and Matt finally confessing his love for fellow science professional Chelsie, The Project host Lisa Wilkinson nearly blew the ending for everyone in one single tweet.

Two hours before The Bachelor finale ended, Lisa tweeted out how she wanted Abbie to become the next Bachelorette, seemingly confirming that she did not win the show.
Lisa swiftly deleted the tweet, but by then it was too late.
“I don’t care what anybody says, I want Abbie Chatfield to be the next #BacheloretteAU,” Lisa tweeted.
The tweet went out just before Abbie Chatfield’s disastrous conversation with Matt’s best friend, Kate, meaning people were still unsure who was going to win Matt’s heart.
Last night Australia breathed a sigh of relief when Matt confessed his love for Chelsie McLeod.
“I’ve never believed in such a thing as the perfect woman until I met you,” Matt told Chelsie, “You encapsulate everything that I’m looking for in a woman.”
“My biggest fear is opening up to that special someone, and having my heart broken into a thousand pieces.”
He continued: “But coming into this experience, I promised I would throw caution to the wind and I’d overcome that fear.
“My heart is fluttering … and even though it could get broken into a thousand pieces, I feel the time is right to take the plunge, to take that leap and tell you how I feel. Chelsie, I love you.
“I love how you giggle when you’re nervous. I love that you go full nerd as soon as there’s some maths involved!
“Above all else, though, I just love how you make me feel and you make me want to believe in fairytales because when I’m with you, I feel like I’m living in one.”
Matt also presented Chelsie with a ring, but didn’t pull a Blake Garvey and get down on one knee.
