While most marriages don’t even last a decade, Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur have managed to keep their partnership afloat after 10 years as co-hosts of Channel Seven’s The Morning Show.
Speaking exclusively to New Idea, Kylie, 50, and Larry, 52, spills on what makes their odd pairing so fascinating to watch.
When asked why the two work so well togethet, Larry says: “There are a lot of factors. It’s a great show. It’s topical, entertaining, informative, and we’ve got a great relationship.”
Meanwhile, Kylie puts it down to their chemsitry. “We’re just Larry and Kylie. We come in every day as us and bounce off each other.”
When asked which celebrity to date has been the best interview, Larry quips: Well, you’re going to go the Kardashians, of course.”
“I adored Susan Sarandon,” said Kylie, while Larry reminded Kylie of their odd interview with Chloe Lattanzi. “I think that was my favourite. It went really
wrong in a really compelling way.”
“We sat there fascinated through the train wreck!” admitted Kylie.
