When Kim Kardashian enlisted the help of her 47 million twitter followers to help her choose an outfit for today’s VMAs, it was always going to be an interesting result.
And the reality TV star did not disappoint, arriving on the red carpet in an incredibly sheer black minidress.
‘I cannot decide on my VMA look!’ the 35-year-old tweeted with despair mere hours before arriving at Madison Square Garden. ‘Casual chill vibes or dressy sexy?’
She also questioned whether to wear her hair naturally dark or turn it blonde for the event.
The reality even posted a poll on the social media site, and her fans were divided, with ‘sexy’ scraping in with 52% of the votes.
And she went with the peoples’ vote.
Mum of two Kim, with hubby Kanye West on her arm, turned heads in her see-through ensemble, with her nipples visible through the fabric, as her long dark tresses tumbled across her shoulders.
Not everyone was thrilled with Kim’s eventual wardrobe choice.
‘It’s not like we haven’t seen it all with Kim before,’ one industry insider tells New Idea. ‘But to turn up to an event like this in such a brazen outfit was a bit eyebrow raising. She’s basically nude at an event watched by young kids.’
Kim revealed earlier today that she is presenting Britney Spears for her first performance in 10 years – and all eyes will be on whether or not bootylicious TV star – who thinks of herself as a leading fashionista – will whip into the ladies’ loo for a quick outfit switch.
