Kim Kardashian West walked the red carpet of the 2019 Met Gala in a custom Mugler dress inspired by the iconic Sophia Loren.

While the dress was made to fit Mrs KKW’s famous figure, she still had some major difficulty manoeuvring in the body conscious number…

But it wasn’t Kim’s inability to walk that had fans talking – it was her IMPOSSIBLY tiny waist.

The KKW Beauty founder has been the subject of some absolutely absurd rumours over the course of her career, but perhaps the most memorable accusation leveled at Kim was the claim she had undergone a horrifying plastic surgery procedure to remove her ribs.

In January 2018 US tabloid Star said the mother-of-three opted for the removal in order to achieve her legendary hourglass physique.

And her choice of attire for this years “Camp” themed Met only adds fuel to the fire of the allegation.

Rib removal – sometimes whispered about in celeb circles but never yet proven to actually occur – is seen by mainstream medicine as a dangerous and unethical procedure, as in theory it could potentially result in deadly injuries to internal organs in the case of an accident.

‘No reputable doctor would remove body parts that have a critical purpose,’ says plastic surgeon Dr Matthew Shulman. ‘Ribs are there to protect your organs.’

Kim has never commented on Star‘s outlandish allegations, but has in the past attributed her enviable figure to healthy eating and exercise.
