Recently engaged Channel Nine duo Peter Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys have gained themselves an unlikely housemate – Pete’s brother and Sylvia’s co-star, Karl!
The suddenly single Today show host has reportedly sought solace in the lovebirds’ recently-purchased Sydney townhouse as his 21-year marriage crumbles. In the dog house since the marriage crisis, at least he now has a couch to sleep on!
As wife Cassandra and their kids Jackson, 16, Ava, 11, River, 10, continue to reside in the family home on Sydney’s north shore, Karl has been doing his fair share of bed-hopping – reportedly moving from pal James Packer’s waterfront apartment, to bunking in with brother Tom and now on to Pete and Sylvia.
While Karl’s split came as a shock to fans, sources tell New Idea that those who worked with the Logie winner saw it coming.
‘They have been having issues for ages, and no-one at Nine was surprised when they heard they had split,’ says a source.
