It was the Zumbo test that had the nation scratching their heads – just how did the dessert master make that hat float in mid-air?
Well, New Idea can finally reveal that the trick was in fact thanks to magnets!
‘The dessert is floating by the use of two magnets, creating a force between them,’ Zumbo explains.
Inspired by Willy Wonka, the creation was called Hat Trick and contained another surprise inside!
Zumbo melted the hat and a savoury ice cream cone lay inside.
The gobstopper was made with Mexican flavours and was designed with a taco in mind!
