It’s easy imagine of the seemingly ageless Jerry Seinfeld as the eternal bachelor from his hit 90s sitcom. But the mullet isn’t the only thing that was left in the ancient past when the American TV classic finished all those years ago – Jerry is happily married to wife Jessica Seinfeld, and they have three teenage children.

The couple and two of their kids, Shepherd Kellen, 13, and daughter Sascha, 18 stepped out at the annual gala thrown by Jessica’s charity, the GOOD+ Foundation in New York City. Their third child, Julian Kal, 16, was not present.
The charity, which has been running for 13 years, ‘works to dismantle multi-generational poverty by pairing tangible goods with innovative services for low-income fathers, mothers and caregivers, creating an upward trajectory for the whole family.’
Far from his TV character, who much like close friend George didn’t care about anyone but himself, Jerry is very hands on with the charity, serving as chair of its Fatherhood Leadership Council, which supports struggling dads.
Julian didn’t attend last year’s event either, although he was there the year prior. No explanation was given for his absence.
Stand up icon turned Hollywood success Jerry and wife Jessica have been happily married for 20 years. Jerry says he loves being a dad, and has only lost his cool with his kids once – when he caught his daughter watching the Kardashians on her phone. It seems the Seinfeld family have high standards when it comes to entertainment.
‘The one time I really, really got upset was when my daughter was watching the Kardashians on her phone in her bed and I could not take that scene,’ he said of California’s most infamous family. ‘For someone who for their whole life, television was the Olympics of being a comedian. It was only for the very best.
‘You had to go through all the different hierarchies of your career to get to television.
‘I’m offended by reality television on many levels and that show of course is the premier example of reality television. These people are not doing anything interesting. I lost my temper with that one.’
