He may have posted a gushing tribute to his wife on their two-year anniversary, but Justin Theroux’s declaration of love to Jennifer Aniston is not quite what it seems – and now, a body language expert reveals the truth about their relationship.
Despite their efforts to appear united, behind closed doors Jen and Justin’s marriage is teetering, and they may have secretly split, insiders reveal.
‘Publicly they’re screaming from the rooftops that everything’s wonderful, but in reality, their constant time apart is causing major problems and insecurities,’ an exclusive insider tells New Idea.
And while Justin’s Instagram tribute to his wife looks romantic – he captioned the post with a simple bow and arrow and love heart emoji – tellingly, the picture Justin chose to use was a throwback of the couple, rather than a new image.
Pals say Jen is struggling with the amount of time Justin, 46, spends in New York, and although he insists he needs to be there for work, deep down they both know what the real issue is.
‘Truth is, he hates LA as a full-time base,’ the source says. ‘He feels incomplete and frustrated when he’s in Hollywood, and Jen’s made it clear she will never relocate to New York full-time.
‘They’re in this inconvenient limbo, shuttling from coast to coast and often not seeing each other for weeks at a time.’
And the rift is beginning to show.
While attending mutual pal Jason Bateman’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony last month, Jen and Justin’s awkward appearance didn’t go unnoticed, with body language expert Susan Constantine commenting: ‘Jennifer is struggling to maintain appearances. Her head is tilted away from Justin, with disappointment in her mouth and eyes – she appears stressed and unhappy.’
Insiders say Jen realises that while she doesn’t want to live in New York, she can’t hold Justin back. So the compromise has been letting him go for large periods of time and trusting he stays true and faithful.
‘As much as Jen pretends she’s cool with this, she really isn’t,’ the insider says. ‘Her life has got pretty lonely. There’s no denying that, however many happy selfies they posts!’
