A big overseas star is being tipped to star on Channel Ten’s The Masked Singer and New Idea can reveal that it is said to be James Corden.

The 41-year-old Brit is host of The Late Late Show, creator of Gavin and Stacey and star of numerous films, including Peter Rabbit, and the upcoming Cats.

But James is not the only big name being bandied about. It was exclusively revealed by New Idea that Aussie icon Bindi Irwin is in talks to appear on the show.

Rumour has it that Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and Hollywood legend Hugh Jackman are also set to take part.

The interesting new guessing game centres around 12 celebrities singing each week, with one celeb being eliminated at the end of the episode.

The catch? The singers have hidden under elaborate masks so the judges have no idea who is behind the incredible (or average) voice.

Channel Ten first drummed up publicity when they announced legendary radio host Jackie O, global pop sensation Dannii Minogue, comedian Dave Hughes and Hollywood A-lister Lindsay Lohan, were all going to be on the judging panel.

Bindi is no stranger to performing in front of big crowds and on TV – having won Dancing with the Stars in the US in 2015.

An industry insider reveals exclusively to New Idea that the wildlife warrior could be the stand-out performer on the show, which is set to air soon.

The source also claims singer Deni Hines will compete dressed as a unicorn.

They also dished that The Voice contestant Prinnie Stevens will belt out her tunes as a spider!

The singing bonanza will air on Monday 23 September at 7.30pm.
