He’s the Home and Away favourite who was left fighting for his life after a shock brain cancer diagnosis, and now Johnny Ruffo has paid an emotional tribute to the brother who supported him through his journey.
Taking to his popular Instagram page, Johnny shared a special message about his brother Michael.
‘Shoutout to my bro @michael_ruffo_86 for his support during my cancer battle 👊🏽 & to all the other brothers and sisters out there supporting their siblings #forthesibs @ChildrensBrainTumorFoundation,’ Johnny wrote.
Alongside his poignant message, Johnny shared a photo of himself wearing a t-shirt that paid tribute to the power of brothers.
The t-shirt displayed the dictionary definition of brother as:
‘1 superhero
‘2 always helpful
‘3 someone to share childhood memories and jump in puddles with.’
Michael responded to Johnny’s post with his own comment.
‘Don’t know about the puddles,’ he wrote.
‘More like shooting spud guns together @johnny_ruffo.’
