Angelina Jolie is so traumatised by eldest son Maddox departing for college in South Korea, that she’s now in the process of adopting a new baby, according to reports.
The star, who recently divorced husband Brad Pitt, and who already has a large brood of six biological and adopted children, has been mulling another adoption for a while, but now she can’t ignore that her kids are growing up fast, she wants another one ASAP.

According to Radar Online, she ‘wants it to happen within the next few months.
‘This has been in the works for a while, but she put it on hold until after Maddox officially left home,’ the site’s source added.
Angelina confessed that bidding farewell to her oldest had left her feeling traumatised, and she was ‘not feeling very strong’ after his departure.
In video captured during her emotional drop off at the university, Angelina says, ‘I’m trying not to cry.’

While Angelina has reportedly been considering dating to fill the void in her life after recent dramatic changes, she apparently believes that adoption is the way forward.
Recent reports have alleged that Angelina was involved in a flirtation with her bodyguard, which apparently ended badly.
‘Angie melted when she was around this guy. She gushed over him like he was her whole world!,’ a source noted.
‘He was her errand boy, her chauffeur, her companion — basically, her everything!’
But with that coming to nothing, she is now fixated on adoption.
‘Because of her ties to so many countries, Angie has several options to choose from that won’t involve too much red tape or background screening,’ a source told the publication.
‘She’s doing this very methodically and still favours picking a child from an impoverished region she’s familiar with, like Syria or another part of the Middle East.’
While she has filming commitments upcoming with The Eternals, ‘the plan is to have a child in her arms by the year’s end at the latest.’
Angelina has yet to comment on the reports.
