Angelina Jolie was fighting back tears on Wednesday as she dropped her eldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, off to college at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
One lucky student managed to capture via video the moment Angelina drops her son off to college, revealing that she spent a few days in the capital Seoul, before going to the University to see her son off.
In the video, taken by Jowonnn and shared via his Instagram account @xx_efu, the 44-year-old Oscar-winning actress looks fresh-faced and smiling while dressed in a casual black satin cami with lace detail.

In the footage, a camera-shy Maddox smiles awkwardly as he stands beside his mother.
“Nice to meet you all,” Angelina says to the group of students.
An unidentified student then asks, “Miss Angelina, how long are you planning on staying in Korea this time?”
“I leave today, today’s the day I drop him [Maddox] off,” Angie says, before pulling a sad face.
“I’m trying not to cry.”
So sweet!
In other Jolie-Pitt news, relations between Maddox and his father, Brad Pitt, don’t seem to have gotten any better since Angelina filed for a divorce in 2016.
After 11 years together and two years of marriage, Angelina Jolie took the drastic step of filing for divorce after an alleged altercation broke out between an intoxicated Brad Pitt and Maddox, while the family were travelling on a private plane.
A source told US Weekly that Maddox has a particularly close bond with the Tomb Raider star, telling the publication: “Maddox doesn’t really see himself as Brad’s son.”
Despite it being three years since his mother filed for a divorce, Maddox is yet to forgive his ‘dad’ Brad, even refusing to join his siblings at Brad’s home for Christmas last year.
“Maddox refused to go, and Pax didn’t go either,” a source told the publication at the time.
“[Maddox and Pax] spend more time with their friends and are busy doing their own thing,” dishes the insider.
“They spend less time than they used to with the younger kids and the family.”
Back in 2016, Brad Pitt was alleged drunk on a flight when an altercation broke out between Maddox and the Unce Upon A Time In Hollywood actor. The incident caused an investigation from both the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services, with the actor having to attend therapy sessions, Alcoholics Anonymous and drug and alcohol testing, to prove he was fit to have physical custody of his children.
Here’s hoping the Jolie-Pitt’s can work through the drama.
