It seems the whole country is up in arms over Richie’s decision to choose Alex over Nikki on The Bachelor last night, and the jilted beauty admits she’s smarting over the news.
In fact, she’s so hurt she’s sworn off men, and there will be no dating. For the time being at least.
‘I am off (dating),’ Nikki told the Daily Telegraph. ‘I am no where near being ready to date again.’
But she’s not giving up totally on the prospect of finding happiness – she just wants some time to heal her heart before she gets back into the sometimes bruising sport we call love.
‘I know I will find my person, I am not feeling like that will never happen,’ she said. ‘I’m not the first and I won’t be the last person to fall in love with someone who won’t love me back.’
