Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are reportedly headed for a split, according to a sensational report today in US magazine Star, with close sources telling the publication that the couple are fighting over everything from the kids, money and jealousy.
The couple, who are parents to daughter Wyatt, two, and five-month-old son Dimitri, looked miserable on a recent lunch date in LA and sources tell Star: ‘They’ve lost the happiness and spark they once had in their relationship,’ says an insider. ‘Tensions have been building for a while.’
Trouble has reportedly been brewing ever since Ashton was seen visiting a massage business a week before Christmas in 2015 – and now Mila’s said to be convinced he’s going to do to her what he did to his last wife, Demi Moore. She’s also not happy with his closeness to his co-star Elisha Cuthbert on The Ranch.
“Even though Elisha’s married, she and Ashton are very close on set and off, so it’s no wonder Mila might feel threatened,” spills Star’s insider, who adds that Ashton’s just as guilty of his own insecurities. When Mila brought home a script for a new movie co-starring Scott Eastwood, Ashton reportedly told her ‘no way!’
“It’s ironic since Ashton cheated on Demi with Scott’s girlfriend Sara Leal when they were together,” adds Star’s source.
Sources say it’s not just insecurity plaguing them. The stress of parenting their two young kids is exhausting and they’ve been fighting over who gets stuck holding the baby and who gets up to feed crying Dimitri.
“Mila’s overwhelmed taking care of everything at home while Ashton goes to meetings and hangs out with the guys,” spills the source. “Even something simple like changing diapers can be a point of contention. Ashton says he isn’t good at it, but that’s a cop-out.”
Making things worse, the couple’s movie careers have stalled after a string of flops from both of them. Mila’s got a sequel to Bad Moms to film, but apart from that, the only things they both having going are TV projects.
“This is just another brick to pile on their problems,” says the source. “It would be so sad if they can’t work things out. They’ve been good friends for almost 20 years – a good foundation for romance. Let’s hope it helps them come through this and they can get back to where they were before.”
The couple have yet to respond to Star‘s allegations.
