Grant Denyer has made a shock confession about new show, Celebrity Name Game.

The TV favourite, who won the Gold Logie for his axed Family Feud game show last year, has joked that he has “six weeks to get Celebrity Name Game cancelled” so that he can scoop the Gold win at this year’s awards.
During last night’s The Sunday Project, Grant, 41, laughed when comedian Susie Youssef asked him if a cancellation would help his chances.
“So if this show gets axed, are you going to get an Oscar? Is that how it works?” she deadpanned.
Grant couldn’t stop laughing as he devised a response, joking: “We’ve got what? Six weeks till the Logies? So I have six weeks to get it cancelled.”
Grant then led the TV audience as they chanted: “Get it cancelled! Get it cancelled!”
Family Feud was dumped last year, just weeks before the 2018 Logies.
Celebrity Name Game, which is hosted by Grant, will debut on Monday, May 13 at 6pm.
Grant has recently returned to TV screens after a series of injuries and illnesses led to his hospitalisation.
