Fun, flirty and at times completely ridiculous, the reality show which saw strangers meet for blind dates is back next year and there could be a huge twist coming with it.
In the UK, producers are taking things one step further with spin-off show First Dates Hotel.
Singletons will travel to a location in the French countryside and get to know each other in an intimate setting…overnight!
The UK series ‘love guru’ Fred Siriex, hints there will be the possibility of a sleepover date.
‘Yes, there are bedrooms,’ he says.
‘It was more about giving them the chance to get to know each other over a longer period of time.
‘So they meet on the terrace, they have a meal, then they can have breakfast the next day and have more opportunities to meet and get to know each other.’
