Eva Longoria has shocked Hollywood by walking down the aisle in a lavish wedding that took just a single week to organise – but with very good reason!
Friends confirm that the former Desperate Housewives star is two months pregnant with her first child, sparking her decision to marry boyfriend Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston, 47, in the surprise ceremony just outside Mexico City.
Sources close to the 41-year-old reveal she and the Latino media boss took just seven days to organise what many are dubbing the ‘celebrity wedding of the year’, desperate to be man and wife before they made their shock baby announcement.
And while the couple refrained from revealing their big news at the million-dollar nuptials at Pepe’s luxury estate – which featured fireworks and an ornate floral altar – it was obvious something was going on.
“Eva stayed away from the booze, which is why everyone’s convinced she’s got her dream baby on board,” says a party guest. “She’s wanted to start a family for well over a decade, and now she’s finally found Mr Right. Eva is 41, so she knows time’s against her – it wouldn’t surprise anyone if she’s already pregnant. After all, she and Pepe have been actively trying.”
