This morning, Sunrise host Edwina Bartholomew surprised everyone by announcing she is pregnant live on-air!
While both Kochie and those watching at home squealed with delight upon hearing the news, the announcement goes down as one of Edwina’s most heartwarming and joyful on-screen moments to-date.

By way of congratulations (and because we love a good trip down memory lane), we thought we’d round up Edwina’s most memorable on-screen moments.
1. The moment Edwina lovingly pashed her now-husband live on-air!
In celebration of their five-year anniversary back in 2016, an utterly overwhelmed with love Edwina, passionately kissed her then-boyfriend Neil Varcoe when he appeared next to her on Sunrise segment.
2. When a young child hilariously flipped Edwina the bird!
It was one of the funniest moments on television, and one that the Channel Seven breakfast show host handled like a pro.
While filming in west London on her morning show duties, a cheeky young boy flipped the camera crew, and a startled Edwina, the bird.
Instead of being offended, Bartholomew took the whole incident in her stride telling Kochie back at the studio:
“What a little rotter, he stuck up his finger at me. There you go, the mean streets of Windsor on a bank holiday weekend. Wait until I get my hands on him.”

3. Edwina’s very bold Oscar’s dress!
After many commentators pointed out that Edwina’s frock on the Oscar’s red carpet back in 2016 looked like ‘a vagina’, the seasoned breakfast show host laughed off the criticism live on-air, joking: “He [the cameraman] said it ‘it looks like a vagina’. I did think it was going to happen, (that someone would say it) but I got through the whole day and no one said it,”
You still looked stunning to us, Edwina!
4. When Edwina showed us her down-to-earth lifestyle away form the camera
Edwina gave us all a happy surprise when she invited the good people at Better Homes and Garden’s over to her place for an intimate walkaround at her home in the Blue Mountains.

5. When an Aussie musician dropped the F-bomb in front of Edwina on the Grammy’s red carpet!
Yet another example of Edwina handling the hilarious crudeness of others with some much-needded dignity!
While streaming live from the Grammy’s, Edwina Bartholomew grabbed house and techno producer Paul Fisher aside for an interview, where he quickly dropped the F-bomb for all Sunrise viewers to hear!
Laughing off the incident, Edwina said: “He’s also got very colourful language, which I didn’t mention beforehand.”
And THAT is why Edwina is our favourite!
