While discussing the Material Girl’s return to the spotlight, Denise dismissed the 60-year-old icon in typically blunt – and shocking – style.

‘I think she’s a sl*t!’, the unpredictable host blurted, her extreme distaste clear on her face.

‘There you go, I’ve said it! There’s things she’s done over the years when she was younger, some video tape… it was called Sex, Lies and Videotapes [sic],’ she said, apparently referring to the singer’s 1992 coffee table book, Sex.

With her co-hosts visibly reeling from the shock of the star’s language, Joe Hildebrand broke the tension by referencing his own run of controversy this week, after he questioned the role of most men in creating a climate of violent misogyny, saying, ‘I’d just like to say, a big thank you to Denise for taking the heat off me this week!’

Denise famously told New Idea earlier this year that it has been so long since she had sex, that she can’t remember the last time she did the deed.

‘I drive myself mad, that’s how hard I am to live with and I haven’t had sex in years, it’s been so long I’ve forgotten!’ she said.

Madonna has yet to respond to Denise’s comments.
