Carrie Fisher drug relapse before death

She passed from a second cardiac arrest on Tuesday.

Carrie Fisher may have been struggling with a drug relapse before she died, according to new reports.

A source told Radar Online the actress relapsed at Thanksgiving.

‘Carrie had relapsed around Thanksgiving,’ the source said. ‘I saw her myself high as a kite once, not that long ago.’

‘Some of her friends I talked to doubted she was ever totally clean and sober because she got doctor’s prescriptions to treat her bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety,’ the source continued.

‘Ironically, she said to me, “You’re too old to get high anymore, dear.” I replied, “You, too, dear”.’

Hollywood icon Carrie Fisher passed from a second cardiac arrest on Tuesday, US time.

It has been further revealed that the star never regained consciousness after she collapsed on a London to LA flight late last week.

The star had reportedly been on life support following her first medical emergency on the United Airlines flight, which sources confirm was also a cardiac arrest.

Rest in peace, Carrie. You will be missed.
