Maureen McCormick’s attempt to make peace with her fellow Brady Bunch cast mates has left the former child star humiliated.
Currently competing in the US series of Dancing with the Stars, Maureen reportedly invited the entire Brady clan to her debut appearance to signify the end of their long-running feud.
But the star, who played Marcia Brady on the hit show, was left red-faced when only Florence Henderson, who played her mum Carole, turned up.
While Maureen acted overjoyed to see her on-screen mum in the studio, saying it was ‘such a dream’, the fact the rest of her castmates were no-shows was no doubt like a dagger in the heart for the TV veteran.
Family discord started with a decades-long feud with Eve Plumb (who played her sister Jan), with sources saying the pair have ‘never liked it each other’, but Maureen has found herself on the outer with the rest of the ‘family’, who accuse her of blocking opportunities for them to earn some money by refusing to participate or sign off on rights to use her voice or likeness in group deals.
‘I know people go through problems with friends, family and co-workers. But I hate when there’s trouble in Brady land, and I especially hate that Eve seems to have a problem with me,’ says Maureen.
