They were estranged for more than six years, however it seems Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight are back on good terms after she invited him along to the premiere of her new Netflix film First They Killed My Father.
While Ange and her Oscar-winning father didn’t pose together, the 78-year-old was in attendance to support his daughter.
And the premiere – which marks Angelina’s first tentative steps back into work since her painful split from ex-husband Brad Pitt last year – really was a family affair, with all six of her children coming along to support their mum, too.
Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne, Knox, Pax and Maddox attended the event all wearing matching flowers. “They really help me so much. We’re really such a unit,” Jolie told the New York Times. “They’re the best friends I’ve ever had. Nobody in my life has ever stood by me more.”
Maddox and Pax also worked on the film as an executive producer and set photographer, respectively.
