Since House Rules launched, naval officer Rob has fast emerged as one of TV’s most contentious people. Fellow contestants and fans alike have taken issue with the way the WA dad speaks to the other contestants.
But, as always, there are two sides to every story – and just seconds after meeting Rose and Rob’s three gorgeous boys, all preconceived notions melt away. Obviously a wonderful father to David, who turns eight this week, Sampson (Sam), six, and Teddy, three, Rob is in his element with his boys.’
The 41-year-old tells New Idea: ‘People definitely misunderstood me. You’ve got to remember, I walked straight from a navy ship and was on House Rules the next day. It was a huge adjustment!
It’s been a tough few years for the married couple, who have lived in 13 houses in four states since their relationship began. With Rob away for most of the year thanks to his job in the navy, he’s missed out on a lot of important family moments – including the birth of their youngest son, Teddy.
