As the royal family gears up for another fairytale wedding with Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, it
seems the Duchess of York has something else to celebrate.

According to palace sources, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, 60, and her much-younger beau Peregrine Kitchener-Fellowes, 29, are also engaged to be married.
“Beatrice and Eugenie were in shock when Fergie revealed how Peregrine popped the question after whisking her to the Lake District for a romantic weekend away,” a royal insider tell New Idea.

“She revealed how he proposed in a ‘sheer moment of madness’ following a long walk and got down on one knee in a spur-of-the-moment decision which she said had her in tears, despite initially taking her aback.”
Beatrice is set to marry Edo on May 29, but it could be a double celebration in a bid to take the heat off the royals amid the ‘Megxit’ and Prince Andrew scandals.

“While Fergie admitted she knew it was fast and may seem too rash, she insisted after everything she’s been through she deserves to be happy and even joked with Bea they could have a double wedding,” the insider says.
“Bea’s jaw fell to the floor and she was in a state of shock as Fergie revealed she was partly being serious and said having a joint bash could take the pressure off her following the recent scandal with her father.”
