Rumours of a royal reunion between Meghan Markle and her estranged father Thomas Markle have officially been shut down.
Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle slammed reports that the Duchess of Sussex is planning a solo trip to America to reunite with her father.
She told The Sun: ‘I speak to him every day and it’s sad but, no, they have not contacted him. There is no meeting planned, that is PR spin.’
The estranged sister went on to add: ‘The PR machines can stop trying to make out she’s making an effort — she is not.’
Disappointed with the whole situation, she exclaimed: ‘This is a heartbreaking time for him and I’m very sad watching my sister ignore him’.
Over the weekend, Samantha also reportedly shared a shady happy birthday message to Twitter for Meghan’s 37th birthday on Sunday.
She tweeted: ‘Happy Birthday Meg! It would be so lovely and appropriate of you to send DAD a BELATED birthday card for his July 18th 🎂 @KensingtonRoyal Cheers!’
