Who is Savannah Phillips?

She’s joining the bridal party at Princess Eugenie’s wedding!

Savannah Phillips is one of the Queen’s six great grandchildren. At seven year’s old she is one of the oldest of the children.

Who is Savannah Phillips?

Savannah is the daughter of Peter Phillips and the grand-daughter of Princess Anne. She will make an appearance as one of Princess Eugenie’s bridesmaids and will join her younger sister Isla Phillips, Princess Charlotte, Mia Tindall, Maud Windsor, and Theodora Williams.

Who is Savannah Phillips’ mum?

Savannah’s mother is Autumn Kelly and she met Peter, the son of Princess Anne in Montreal in 2003. They married at Windsor Castle in 2008 and had their first child, Savannah on December 29 in 2010.

Savannah’s sister Isla was born just a few years later on March 29, 2012.

What is Savannah Phillips’ royal title?

Savannah is 15th in line to the throne but does not hold a royal title. When Peter was born, his parents Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips declined to the Queen’s offer to give him a title making him “the first child to be born to a princess without a title here for at least 500 years,” reported the Washington Post.

“Princess Anne and her husband are understood to have told the queen that they felt a title would be a hindrance in the child’s future career.”

As such, while Savannah does attend some royal events, she leads a fairly normal life in London.

Savannah did catch the public’s eye when at the Trooping of the Colour this year when she playfully told Prince George to keep quiet and stop singing, placing her hand over his mouth when he didn’t listen to her.

Channel 7 will be airing Princess Eugenie’s wedding live from 7pm, as the only Australian broadcaster with cameras inside the Chapel. More info here.
