If you’ve been keeping track of the royal world, you would have been aware of the trailer for the new documentary about Queen Elizabeth II being released today.
The documentary titled Queen of the World features newlyweds the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and one small snippet of the trailer shows Meghan admiring her Givenchy wedding gown. While Meghan inspects her gown that she wore in her wedding ceremony, she discusses the number of nations that are a part of the Commonwealth.
“Fifty-three countries, oh my goodness,” the 37-year-old says, “It’ll keep us busy.”
However, royal fans were quick to pick up on the way the duchess made her statement by insisting she had picked up a bit of a British twang in her voice.
A few months ago, her accent also sparked debate when a fan posted a video of Meghan introducing herself to onlookers at an event.
A relationship between Meghan and Prince Harry was first rumoured in October, 2016 and being a former-actress it isn’t hard to see that perhaps she could have picked up a bit of an accent in the last two years.
