Christian, 16, spent a week with his class in Val Thorens, France. He was filmed popping open champagne during an after-ski party at an outdoor club, La Folie Douce.

New Idea hears whispers that Princess Mary, 50, fears her eldest son might be taking after his dad, Prince Frederik, who was known to be a wild partier before meeting Mary.

She’s even said to be considering sending him to her native Australia for a bit to get away from the press and any bad influences.

It’s not unusual for royal family members to be sent to Oz for a gap year – Prince Charles attended Geelong Grammar School in 1966, and Harry spent a year working on a Queensland farm in 2003.

Plus, Mary knows her family, who are based in Tasmania, will keep a close eye on Christian while he is here.

It comes after Christian recently left his family to head off to boarding school at Herlufsholm School in Næstved.

As the eldest of Mary and Frederik’s four children, Christian is set to inherit the Danish throne after his father, who will become King after his mother, Queen Margrethe.

The couple’s other children are Princess Isabella, 14, and twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, who are 10.
