The pathologist assigned to examine Diana’s body as part of an official investigation of her death has recently claimed that she would have lived had she been wearing her seatbelt.

Dr Richard Shepherd told Daily Mail, “she would’ve walked away with a black eye or maybe a broken arm, but nothing more,” due to the seatbelt restraint.

“Instead, she was hurtling forward with the weight of one and a half elephants, and the human body is not designed to suffer those forces,” he explained.

Dr Shepherd has also investigated the fatalities of 9/11 in New York City 2001 and the 7/7 London bombings in 2005. He claimed that Diana could have been around for the wedding of Prince William in 2011 and Prince Harry in 2018, he said, “I wish I could say she would have died whatever happened, but the fact is, if she had worn her seatbelt she would have been here for Prince William and Harry’s weddings.”

Prince William revealed that he didn’t want his mother’s death to break him as he wanted her to be proud of the person he was and would become. Meanwhile, Harry openly discussed his disgust for the paparazzi who followed Diana into the tunnel where the car accident occurred and took photos of her as she lay dying in the back seat. Harry claimed that it was one of the “hardest things to come to terms with.”
