Prince William and Kate Middleton are counting down the days until the arrival of their third child.
And, Prince William is planning on gifting Kate a very special push present to mark the occasion.
‘He’s having a custom piece of jewellery made by the Queen’s jeweller incorporating three 5-carat diamonds, representing their three children,’ says a palace source.
‘The Queen has also given him some jewels from her private collection to incorporate into the piece, she wants to be a new royal heirloom that gets handed down through the royal generations.’
The thoughtful gift is expected to cost an eye watering amount.
‘At this stage, it’s believed to be a necklace – and valuers are pricing it at around $12million,’ adds the source.
‘But until the exact origin of the Queen’s jewels are known, it could be considerably more than that.’
No doubt, the extravagant piece will be stunning.
