Despite reported tensions between them, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly going to be front and centre at King Charles’ funeral.
The Telegraph reported that the King has included the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as their children Prince Archie , six, and Princess Lilibet, four, in his funeral plans.
The father and son have drifted apart over the years, but Harry has said on several occasions that he would like to reconcile.
Traditionally, funerals for members of the British royal family have been at Westminster Abbey.

Reportedly, the estranged couple will be invited to take part in the family vigil during the lying in state at Westminster Hall.
They are also reportedly going to have main roles during the service alongside other senior members of the royal family.
Prince Harry is expected to walk side by side with his brother Prince William, who by then would be King, in the procession through the streets of London.
Things have soured between the pair, and exchanges and sightings of them have been fleeting.
The publication also revealed that arrangements have been made for Archie and Lilibet, the King’s youngest grandchildren, to attend the service and the committal at St George’s Chapel if they wish.
“Whenever the time comes, the monarch is adamant that his youngest son take his rightful place at the centre of his family, perhaps mindful of that final chance to create family harmony,” the publication wrote.

It is also reported that the King has also made some adjustments that reflect his personal beliefs.
He is expected to include sustainable elements where possible, which align with his dedication to the environment.
The period of mourning is also reportedly going to be shortened, to align with the national period of mourning.
